5. APPROVAL OF DECEMBER 1,2025 MINUTES MSCU Steve Anderson/Dave Fredricks to amend minutes to reflect Greg Valceschini’s name and to change Item 5 (c) to read: 5-Stand be every Sunday at 9am during the months of May, June, July and August. (Except the and 3rd Sunday in May).

6. TREASURER'S REPORT - Elaine Jacobs – DISCUSSION/ACTION MSCU: Jim Wages/Dave Fredrick Trap and 5-Stand Report for 3/2/26 – Balance of $17,142.36, Fiscal Report – Available $13,774.52. (See Attachment Sierra Sportsmen’s Fiscal Report 3/2/26)

7. CLUB REPRESENTATIVE REPORTS:
Don Williams – Clay Dusters are still shooting. Range is open.
Phil Guisti – kids, 1st competition is this Saturday, Yerrington, NV 11varsity, 7 juniors, predict juniors will go undefeated. Really having a hard time recruiting 6-8th grades (juniors). More to report after d1st competition. No predictions Varsity is tougher competitions. Regulators are fine 1/3 is present, nothing in the wind. Still looking for members.
Armorers, carefully secure and put away.
Public Relations – Dave F.
CMP hard time getting out in Dec and January. Looking forword to good march match.
Chris Mancebo – working on security system, waiting fodr weather to dry to install. Asking for Russell Bates for Life Membership . Solar system, for a phone extender, can get cellular coverage and we can get better updates, 6,000 worth of donations up to 100 per year for data. One at front gate or cellular component to mobile devices. Batteries, charge units , cell booster, ongoing costs….he is doing install for free, not expecting damage. 2-4 panels sit on conexs. Inidtial cost to club at and yearly update. Batteries, solar chadrger controller, all paid for…need to wait to put in due to bad weather . V-Tack Boards put up Rifle Areas and sheet 8x4 cutouts

8. OLD BUSINESS:

  1. P.O.S.T. Berm Extension Request – DISCUSSION/ACTION (Jess Jacobs) Elaine, Tom is going to wait a few more months. Is considering a $10 per each student assessment for Post fees to see how much they bring in.
  2. Open House Plans (Dave Fredrick). Proposed that we consider having an Open House at the Range. Some possibilities are having Claybreakers sell hot dogs, drinks for their own fundraiser. Other venues can have booths to display their area of shooting information to recruit new members. He will get advertising for this if approved. Any club reps that would like to participate, let Dave know. MSCU Sophia Wages/Chris Mancebo to have an Open House on May 30 from 10-2pm.

9.NEW BUSINESS

  1. Gravel proposal for Shot Gun area (Don Williams) Load of gravel costs approx. $7500. (Place on next Agenda for further discussion.

10. OTHER INFORMATION:
Life Membership to Russell Bates proposed by Chris Mancebo for doing all of the setup for security cameras, etc. 530 310-5999, 1107 Main Street, Susanville, CA 96130 Chris will donate $200 for ongoing security MSCU Sophia Wages/Elaine Jacobs.
