1. MEMBERS PRESENT:

2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES with changes– September 5, 2023 MSCU Chris Mancebo/Benny Morrow

3. TREASURER'S REPORTS:
See Attached MSCU Jim Wages/Steve Anderson Sportsmen’s Fiscal Report – Balance $15,037.63; Trap Fiscal Report $1,431.78.

4. CLUB REPRESENTATIVE REPORTS:
Don Williams, Absent, Phil Guisti – Doing good; 20 signed up 7 are Juniors 6-8 graders, to date are shooting as good as any freshman team. Has room for shooters, one girl. Quite competitive Junior Teams. Can do younger kids, because not with HS have opportunity; Won last 2 shoots and won the Season. Jim Wages, Regulators #2 Actively recruiting, made donation to Shop with Hero $250. Armorer – all secured. Benny Morrow - Range Coordinator – Porta Potties serviced up to October – late spring done again. Range Cleanup, Web page, brush was hauled to dump. Chris M. donated brush hog to get brush out of Pistol Range. The fence at end of pistol has been shot up post; Scott put metal sheathing on posts to keep vandals from shooting. Complaints of trash cans full, steel targets out among range area and have to retrieve them; weeds. Scott Parks– Brian Ealer – Fish and Game, BLM Contract Requirement, said he would touch base with him in December. Really not an issue unless there is more snowfall. Karen Rose – lost range, have not organized due to fire. Did put on a family/friend shoot, small course near the Westwood property of the Strongs. Bill Feirabend – Due to unusual weather December of 22, to March of this year. Were able to start in May and have had matches every month. Lost College students in Spring, all graduated. New batch is waiting for January. Ended up with 67 matches, $296 fees collected.

5.NEW BUSINESS (Discussion/Action)

  1. Election Chief Instructor by Executive Committee - Chris Mancebo was introduced by President Bill. Chris gave a brief background of his qualifications. He will work on completing Range Safety Officer information to include due diligence with NRA. Has Security cameras experience.
  2. Appoint committee for Range Security - MSCU Elaine Jacobs /Scott Parks Chris Mancebo, Bill Feierabend, Scott Parks, Benny Report at March Meeting.
  3. MSCU Chris Mancebo/Jim Wages to approve Claws and Paws May 11 schedule for shoot - Terri Loflin

OTHER (Discussion/Information)

  1. Calendar Scheduling to include College Schedule – Once was scheduled, other times, they were not scheduled. Benny indicated that he never received a schedule for the College for new Calendar.
  2. Retrieve .22 Rifles from Rob… 3 .22s and sprayer obtained.
  3. 100 yd range – Benny and Wayne will get more information for next year.
  4. Webmaster Time – pay 3/5 or 4 hours over budget after invoice.
